The first official release by Tool, the hard-to-pigeonhole alt/prog/rock/metal band from Los Angeles. Released in 1992 when they were newly signed by the now-defunct Zoo Records, the Opiate EP features 7 songs showing the band at its infancy and giving fans a taste of what was to come, including two live tracks.
